INTRODUCTION. Living in moral purity and truth is vital for the Christian. God desires believers to live uprightly and truthfully before Him. Those who consistently live in the light enjoy fellowship with God and His people. They also experience cleansing from defilement and guilt associated with sin. This week’s lesson teaches us that Christ’s atoning sacrifice provides this cleansing and the blessings of forgiveness.
