PRACTICAL POINTS FOR DISCUSSION:
1. Just as God spoke to Moses in an audible voice, He speaks to us today through His written Word (Exodus 31:12).
2. Obedience to God and knowing Him is essential to a believer’s relationship with Him (Exodus 31:13). 3.When we disrespect God’s will, we are asking for trouble. It can lead to being isolated from His people, and maybe even death (Exodus 31:14-15). 4. Setting aside one day a week to worship God is a way of showing our relationship with Him (Exodus 31:16).
5. God’s people are renewed through worship and strengthened as they remember who He is and what He has done (Genesis 31:17).
6. Man’s standards can change from day to day, but God’s standards will always endure (Genesis 31:18).
