1. After praying, we should take a genuine interest to see how God will answer (Habakkuk 2:1).

2. God does answer our prayers, but we should be patient in case the answer comes at an unexpected time (Habakkuk 2:2-3; Hebrews 10:37).

3. False knowledge resulting in pride leads to destruction, but trusting God when knowledge is incomplete pleases Him and produces great reward (Habakkuk 2:4; Hebrews 10:34-38).

4. The proud will never be content in this life and are doomed to suffer judgment (Habakkuk 2:5; Proverbs 16:18).

5. The worst situations in life cannot rob us of the joy of our salvation (Habakkuk 3:17-18).

6. Strength to endure anything in this life rests in the LORD alone (Habakkuk 3:19).
