PRACTICAL POINTS FOR DISCUSSION:
1. It is a wise thing to listen to warnings from God’s chosen leaders (Numbers 16:23-25).
2. As believers, we must separate ourselves from anything and anyone who opposes God (Numbers 16:26; II Corinthians 6:17).
3. The sins we commit not only affect us but also those who are near to us (Numbers 16:27).
4. When we seek God’s will sincerely, He will reveal it to us (Numbers 16:28-30).
5. The time for turning to the LORD is right now, because His justice will not be delayed (Numbers 16:31-33).
6. We should reverence the LORD because of who He is and not because we are afraid of Him (Numbers 16:34-35).
