PRACTICAL POINTS FOR DISCUSSION:
1. Knowing that God’s judgment is coming ought to prompt believers to persuade people to come to Christ (II Corinthians 5:11).
2. People may think we are crazy for what we believe, but we must convince them that sharing it with them is for their sakes (II Corinthians 5:12-13).
3. Believers ought to feel compelled to share the gospel because of Jesus’ love for us which never changes (II Corinthians 5:14-15).
4. When we accept Jesus as LORD and Savior, we have new life and should see people’s hearts and not their appearance (II Corinthians 5:16-17).
5. God has given believers the word of reconciliation to share with others and not to keep to ourselves (II Corinthians 5:18-19).
6. As ambassadors for Jesus Christ, we are His representatives and must speak as if He Himself is speaking (II Corinthians 5:20).
7. Believers are able to express God’s own righteousness because a sinless Jesus died in our place for our sins (II Corinthians 5:21).
